Bethesda officially belongs to Microsoft, let's play some classics
Xbox Game Pass subscribers get access to 20 AAA games, look forward to more

The most talked-about acquisition in the video games market last year, the Bethesda one done by Microsoft, was finalized a few days ago when it got approval from the European Union regulators - and Xbox Game Pass subscribers get to enjoy no less than 20 AAA titles from Bethesda's deep library of hits starting tomorrow. That was one of the reasons why the acquisition happened in the first place, of course, as Bethesda owns some of the most beloved brand names and franchises in the history of gaming and, apart from all future releases that will belong to many of those franchises, current titles will be more than welcome by millions of gamers worldwide.
These franchises include Dishonored, Doom, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Wolfenstein, in versions for the Xbox One S/X - all playable on the new Xbox Series X/S, some with certain graphical improvements coming in the near future - for PC as well as for Android devices through the xCloud game streaming service. Not all titles will be playable on all platforms, so here's a breakdown.

Dishonored Definitive Edition (Console, PC, Cloud)
Dishonored 2 (Console, PC, Cloud)
DOOM (1993) (Console, PC, Cloud)
DOOM II (Console, PC, Cloud)
DOOM 3 (Console, PC, Cloud)
DOOM 64 (Console, PC, Cloud)
DOOM Eternal (Console, PC, Cloud)
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (Console, PC)
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Console, PC)
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition (Console, PC, Cloud)
The Elder Scrolls Online (Cloud, Console)
The Evil Within (Console, PC, Cloud)
Fallout 4 (Console, PC, Cloud)
Fallout 76 (Console, PC, Cloud)
Fallout: New Vegas (Console)
Prey (Console, PC, Cloud)
Rage 2 (Console, PC, Cloud)
Wolfenstein: The New Order (Console, PC, Cloud)
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood (Console, PC, Cloud)
Wolfenstein: Youngblood (Console, PC, Cloud)

The addition of these AAA titles to the Xbox Game Pass library - now permanent, as a few of them had been included in the past but had left the service at some point as is the case for many games - makes an already strong subscription proposition even more appealing. What's more, Microsoft has already confirmed that most (if not all) of Bethesda's forthcoming games will be appearing in the Xbox Game Pass library upon their release, just like Microsoft's own games. The Redmond giant promises to share more information about these future Bethesda titles later in the year, so - fingers crossed - Wolfenstein III, please?
